Norwick Mastering is first of all about customer satisfaction. Ensuring you receive a professional, efficient and friendly service, first time every time and where nothing is ever too much trouble.
The studio is a Pro tools based high resolution digital mastering studio. The monitoring room has been acoustically corrected to give a flat frequency response environment, using Auralex acoustical treatment in conjunction with the Specialist Digital Audio Spectrum Analysis Suite.
The Company is run exclusively by myself David Shearer. I have had over 12 years experience as a mastering engineer including all studio calibration i.e. frequency response, level & azimuth alignment of recording, noise reduction & metering equipment as well as most industry duplication & replication equipment while employed by CD & Cassette replication plant Grampian Records Ltd. I also spent 6 years as a professional musician, working in recording studios in Northern and Southern Ireland, Nashville Tennessee in America, England and Scotland gaining valuable experience in this environment.
